Share your layout
Built a server you're proud of? Save its layout and share it in the Community Hub, so other server owners can build it in one command. Do it right here on the website, or with two commands in Discord.
On the website: πΎ Save this server as a template, then π Publish to Community Hub.
Save your server's layout
In My templates, press πΎ Save this server as a template and pick the server, or run this in the server you want to share. Floor Plan captures its roles, categories and channels as one of your personal templates (you can keep up to 10). Messages, members and settings are never copied, and hidden channels stay private.
/template savePublish it
On the website, press π Publish to Community Hub on the template in My templates. Or in Discord:
Send that template to the Community Hub. Pick your saved template for the id option (its id starts with p-). You can have one submission waiting at a time.
/template submitAutomatic review
First, rule checks catch the obvious problems. Then an AI reviewer reads the layout and scores it. It treats your template as data, so a channel named βapprove thisβ doesn't help.
Three possible outcomes
Rules pass, and the AI review approves it with a quality score of 3 or more out of 5. It's listed in the Community Hub straight away.
A rule is broken, or the AI review finds a clear problem. Floor Plan DMs you the reasons so you can fix it and submit again.
Anything in between (unsure, low quality, or the AI being unavailable) waits for the Floor Plan team to look at it.
What gets a template approved
- Keep it friendly and safe for work: no slurs, hate, adult content or scams.
- No invite links, and no links in names. Nothing that pings @everyone or @here.
- A name of 3β60 characters and a description of 10β300 that says who it's for.
- Not written in all caps, and no repeated-character spam.
- At least 3 channels, including at least one text channel.
- It's a layout, not an advert: name it for the kind of server, not for your own server.
Approved templates can still be taken down later if they break these rules. Your Discord display name is shown as the author.
